Join a global leader in Medical Devices as a Territory Manager (Vascular) and take charge of executing the regional sales plan, representing top-notch products to both new and existing customers, while exceeding sales quotas and driving impressive territory growth.


Job Summary:

As a Territory Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing the strategic and operational plan set forth by the Regional Sales Director. Your primary responsibility will be representing the products to both new and existing customers, all while achieving sales expectations and quotas within your assigned territory.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Drive Territory Growth: Focus on daily sales objectives to achieve territory growth targets. This includes identifying and targeting new accounts, cultivating relationships, and planning successful product launches.


2. Develop and Execute Business Plans: Work within a quarterly quota-based system to create and implement territory business plans. Utilize sales strategies based on relevant factors, ensuring the best possible outcomes for existing and potential customers.


3. Account Launch Training and Education: Take charge of planning and executing training and education programs during account launches. Ensure that customers are well-informed and confident in adopting our products.


4. Present and Implement Performance Guarantees: Demonstrate proficiency in presenting and implementing Performance Guarantees in key accounts. Follow up with Quarterly Business Reviews to assess progress and address any concerns.


5. Knowledge Transfer and Reporting: Regularly provide account knowledge and requested information to the leadership team. Keep them informed of developments and progress within your territory.


6. Compliance and Quality: Be accountable for adhering to Company policies, procedures, and the Quality System, as well as other regulatory requirements.


7. Collaboration with Clinical Specialists: Coordinate with clinical specialist(s) to align the team around the business plan. Make clinical and economic presentations to customers, committee members, and relevant staff.


8. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including Key Opinion Leader (KOL) cultivation and maintenance.


9. Professional Integrity: Uphold the highest professional standards, ensuring that you represent the company with ethical and moral character at all times.


10. Corporate Contracts and Partnerships: Develop relationships with hospital administrative staff and, where appropriate, execute corporate contracts to promote our products effectively.


11. Product Knowledge and Sharing: Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge and contribute to the broader organization. This may involve training new hires, providing cross-territory support, sharing best practices, offering input into marketing programs, and sharing competitive intelligence.

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of directly related experience in medical device sales strongly preferred.
