Are you an IT Support professional seeking your next opportunity? We have a contract opening for an onsite Tier 2 Support Technician who will provide on-site first level technical hardware/software support for client computers and other technologies for the company.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrates working knowledge of standard Windows operating system as related to PC system devices configurations and network configurations.
- Ability to diagnose and repair desktop and laptop systems.
- Ability to resolve multiple client hardware/software technical problems.
- Ability to handle a fast paced, dynamic, volatile environment.
- Ability to get along well and deal with people in all levels of responsibility.
- High School Diploma required.
- Ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.
- What You Will Be DoingDaily Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve various computer hardware/software problems through discussions with users.
- Enter tickets into ServiceNow
- Occasional travel to another site for deskside assistance
- Install and support Windows desktop and notebook systems
- Provide first and some second level phone support for identifying and troubleshooting technology-related problems
- Assist IT operations team to resolve hardware/software problems.
- Utilize the help desk system and adheres to IT Support guidelines.
- Ensure computer standards and policies are followed.
- Other duties as assigned.
