Position Overview: As the Lead Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading our NLP engineering efforts and driving innovation in NLP technologies. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  5. Model Training and Evaluation: Train and evaluate NLP models using appropriate techniques and metrics, optimizing for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
  6. Model Deployment: Deploy NLP models into production environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.
  7. Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of NLP models and systems, leveraging techniques such as distributed computing and GPU acceleration.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to deliver end-to-end NLP solutions that meet customer requirements.
  9. Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest advancements in NLP research and technology, exploring innovative approaches and techniques to enhance NLP solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in NLP engineering, with a proven track record of developing and deploying NLP solutions.
  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and expertise in NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, spaCy, Transformers, or AllenNLP.
  • Strong understanding of NLP techniques and algorithms, including word embeddings, sequence labeling, text classification, and language generation.
  • Experience with deep learning architectures for NLP tasks, such as recurrent neural networks (RNNs), convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and transformer models.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with a passion for tackling complex NLP challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
