The selected applicant will work with a team of highly talented individuals supporting RDT&E network connected and standalone laboratories. Responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to, assisting in the management of a Windows domain, desktop support, virtual machine builds/deployments, supporting system integration in an RDT&E environment, troubleshooting, patching, and maintaining various lab applications, and configuration management.. The selected applicant will work as part of an integrated team including system administrators, network engineers, service desk analysts, and other personnel on site.Responsibilities:Maintain IT Infrastructure end-point devices including but not limited to computers, printers, phones (desk and mobile), and audio visual equipmentPerform server/workstation installations and technology refreshes.Install and configure external workstation hardwareInstall and configure authorized software on workstationsDiagnose and resolve hardware and software issuesPerform system upgrades as requiredSupport the tracking and implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGS)Assist in artifact development as well as continuous monitoring activitiesMaintain end-point data backups and ensure integrityParticipate in the patch management processCreate and maintain documentationLead and assist with projects as neededRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent GED is requiredUp to 3 years of experience providing end user IT support services preferredThe selected applicant must have a DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) or IAT Level 3 Certification (CASP or CISSP)Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologiesSecurity Clearance:An Interim DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
