Amotec is currently supporting a search for a Continuous Improvement Manager. Located north of Kinston, NC, our client is a leading manufacturer in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving process innovation and enhancing operational efficiency. Continuous Improvement Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with plant leadership to formulate a site master plan for implementing LEAN best practices, ensuring regular updates to the team on progress.
- Identify and execute improvement initiatives throughout the organization by employing process improvement methodologies such as visual management, process control strategies, and 5S programs.
- Conduct periodic value stream reviews with Plant Leaders to confirm the sustainability and effectiveness of implemented best practices.
- Provide coaching and training to employees at all levels to promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, define project scope, and develop action plans to drive sustainable change.
- Offer production support in various areas including safety, quality, throughput improvement, supply chain, engineering problem-solving, and cost reduction efforts.
Continuous Improvement Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in leadership roles in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage teams.
- Strong knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
