Areas of Responsibility
Dining Room:
-Responsible for set and breakdown of dining room including all service items and table set up for Member dining, buffets and events
-bus as needed when bussers are not on duty
-set up for next service
Service
-greet all incoming guest
-escort guests to their table
- take food and beverage orders
- Send drink orders to the bar
-Provide kitchen with food orders fired by course, by table
-enter soup, salad, or appetizers in POS and send to kitchen
-ensure exemplary food & Beverage service
- ensure all condiments are filled and available
- Place all table enhancements on the table
-close out tickets
-send a report to the House Chair on suggested improvements
Kitchen & POS:
-enter menus for regular weekly dinner service and special events in Club Essentials
-enter prices and include 10% surcharge for non-members and applicable event fees
-review reservations, head count and food orders
-prepare spreadsheet for Chef with final count
Cleanup:
- Assist with bussing of the dining room, vacuum,
- Set up tables for next service: tablecloths, service ware, napkins & glassware
MISC:
-keep abreast of POS and attend training
-complete food handler course
-complete RBS (responsible beverage server) course
- Other activities as assigned from time to time
