**Assistant Service Manager / Shop Dispatcher Recreational Vehicles**
**To be an Assistant Service Manager / RV dispatcher you must be able to operate in a high energy, fast-paced environment. While being organized and held to strict timelines and the pressures associated with them. This is a very rewarding position for the right person. That person would be preferred to have come from a mechanical background, being professional, responsible and have an excellent work ethic. **Job Responsibilities**
* Manage day to day operations of the Service shop.
* Responsible for the Technicians, Porters and daily shop production.
* Daily reporting along with weekly reviews of all responsibilities
* Manage work orders and distribute them to RV technicians
* Communicate with Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and Service Writers to keep them informed at all times of available shop capacity.
* Review all repair orders, determine time required to perform work and when work is to be started so that it is finished promptly.
* Communicate with lot porters to have RVs moved in and out of the shop safely and efficiently, assist with moving when needed
* Perform quality control checks
* Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation
* Attend company and factory training
* Keep current with factory technical bulletins
* Answer service phone calls and follow up when needed
**Education and/or Experience**
High school diploma and/or graduate of an applicable trade school in a mechanical or construction field. 6 months related experience as a shop dispatcher and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer, typing and communication skills are a must. RV Technician Certification school is provided when you join our team, most of which is provided on site, however some travel may be required.

**Compensation**
$40,000 to $60,000 per year DOE

*Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Up until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. A search for a new camping trailer ended up turning into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers.*
*Bretz opened at its current location in Missoula along Interstate 90 in 1999 and has continuously been expanding ever since. In 2008, Bretz purchased Tour America RV Center in Billings, Montana, which has grown into a brand new dealership on 35 acres of freeway frontage. **About Our Dealership**
Gull Boats & RV in Missoula, MT, was started in 1941 by Bob Anderson Sr., but back then it was called Gull Boats. Bob Sr. began by manufacturing boats, out of an incredible new-fangled material called fiberglass, in his parents garage, where the Depot Deck is currently located. In those days, it was unheard of to be a landlocked boat manufacturer. Despite this (or because of it), his boats became a huge success. Soon, Gull's dealer network spread to Florida. Word of the quality of his boats was spreading. In the mid-'70s, three of Bob Anderson's sons, Bob Jr., Denny, and Mike took over, after working there during their youth. As the business grew, the boys moved down the road, into a new larger location, and continued to expand the business. RV's were added 20 years ago, and things have been rocking & rolling ever since.
