Project Development Manager

Catholic Housing and Community Services is currently seeking a Project Development Manager.

Primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Plan and manage housing development processes and development teams.
  • In collaboration with development consultants and Finance, prepare and oversee preparation of housing finance packages and pursue funding from the appropriate sources, including governmental, foundations, and corporations.
  • Prepare requests for qualifications and proposals; make recommendations regarding selection of development team members and investors; review and manage contracts.
  • Manage development budget and cash flow.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Business Administration, Social Work/Services or related field from an accredited university required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of community and/or housing development experience preferred.
  • Skill and ability to work with diverse disciplines including planners, consultants, technical professionals, funders, and neighborhood stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand partnership agreements, loans, contracts, and pro formas.
  • Highly organized and strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to function as part of a team and to lead teams. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have a current driver's license, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
