Our8-12-week internship program provides hands-on learning and buildingexperiences for students who are interested in a career in Computer Science. In addition to working on impactful projects, you will have theopportunity to engage with other employees of Core Lab for professionaldevelopment, expanding your network, and participating in activities (e.g.,team building, social, educational, etc.) with other interns throughout yourinternship.

Opportunity to gain real-life experience while producing workproduct for an O&G services company with an 80-year history!

EXPERIENCE

  • Abilityto balance multiple projects and initiatives while executing results
  • Mustbe a self-starter who can work independently while contributing to theteam goals
  • Excellentcommunication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred
  • Provenleadership/participation with campus programs and/or community serviceactivities is desire
  • Works with business content owners and a variety of content providers, departments, and divisions of the company to provide solutions.
  • Monitors assigned helpdesk activities to ensure requests or issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Works closely with the rest of IT team to assist in identifying Web systems improvements for current or future projects.
QUALIFICATIONSAND REQUIREMENTS
  • Paid Internship
  • Full time (40 hours per week)
  • Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's in Computer Science.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to work in the city of the posting location without relocation assistance.
  • Strong MS Access a must.
  • Programming and development of global web applications and systems using HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, C#, VBScript, JavaScript, jQuery, SharePoint, and .NET Framework 4.0, 4.5 and other evolving technologies.
  • Review, analyze, modify, and maintain programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting applications to produce a consistent visual image and functional application.
  • Review, analyze, modify, and maintain SharePoint forms and workflows.
  • Assist with the graphical design, site planning and layout of web applications and websites as needed.
  • Research technologies to keep abreast of latest development and programming tools, training, hardware, etc.
