Our client, an association in the medical field, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Education and Events Planner to support their team in Alexandria, VA!
About the Job:
- Provide comprehensive support services for faculty/speakers, ensuring compliance, processing honorariums, and offering on-site assistance.
- Manage the eLearning program, overseeing webinars, activity creation, and providing staff support.
- Coordinate subject matter experts as speakers for various events and channels.
- Lead the topic proposal and abstract submission process, administering the online site and identifying improvements.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop attendee support systems for educational activities.
- Support committees, including program development, meeting management, and evaluation reporting, while also assisting with event logistics and attendee support for CME credits.
About You:
- 2+ years of experience with educational meetings/events or adult learning programs; A bachelor's degree is required.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills are required; iMIS and CME knowledge/familiarity is preferred.
- Preferably experienced with Elevate and Cadmium CD systems.
- Willingness to take personal ownership of responsibilities with effective communication, and proofreading abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines independently or collaboratively.
- Able to occasionally travel and available for evening/weekend work.
About the Position:
- $27/hr-$29/hr while temporary
- Up to $60K when permanent
- 100% on-site
- Office in Alexandria, VA
