The Staff Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse is a key component of the clinical team who is responsibilities include patient assessments, medication management, accurate documentation and milieu management through team leadership skills, collaborative efforts with health team members, and crisis intervention in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
- Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
- Preferred one year experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients ages 5-65 years plus.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure in the State of Arkansas.
- CPR or BLS and Handle with Care Certification (offered onsite).
- Current license to practice nursing in ARKANSAS (or eligible to receive or renew)
- Ability to work Harmoniously and Effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff.
- Must be able to work as a team with all staff/coworkers
- Must be able to maintain the ability to treat all patients with respect
- PREFERRED: one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting
Current Openings:
- Evenings (3p-11p) Monday-Friday 8 Hour Shift
- Weekends (7p-7a) Saturday, Sunday (Plus One Day) 12 Hour Shift
PAY: Commensurate with Education and Experience
SIGN-ON BONUS: Available ($15K and $10K)
