The ideal candidate will support the full scope of warehouse Logistic responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's warehouse capabilities by planning, implementing, and evaluating logistic policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
- This position will provide leadership for the logistic planning and optimization , including inbound , outbound and interfacing transfers.
- Sets annual global freight cost reduction targets and leads a total cost strategy to capture opportunities in areas such as global freight, global warehousing, inbound and outbound freight integration, operational efficiencies, and departmental expenses.
- Leads a strategy to improve and maintain service to internal customers with measurable standards and targets. Develops a team driven towards positive attitude and high service level to internal and external customers.
- Lead the development and alignment of human talent to fully support and deliver on the organizational vision for a global logistics function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain / logistics.
- 10+ years' experience in logistics management
- Experience with warehouse management systems.
- Six Sigma.
- Leadership and teamwork-orientated
