Job Title: Senior Network Software Engineer
Job Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Onsite - Once or Twice in a month depends on work)
Duration: Full-time/ Permanent role
Salary: $180K to $200K as Base salary
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an outstanding Senior Network Security Development Engineer to support the development and delivery of our Sudo applications. You will be joining a high-powered experienced team who follow agile development principles, and who value well-designed software, creative thinking and thrive on solving the unsolvable. You will be working on technology spanning mobile communications (voice, messaging, email, safe browsing, password manager), and fintech/payments all underpinned by strong security and privacy principles.
We focus on building high quality apps. All code changes are peer reviewed. We value meaningful unit, integration and UI tests with high code coverage. We conduct test jams regularly.

REQUIREMENTS
Must-have skills
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
7+ years of industry experience developing commercial systems in a Linux/BSD environment
Web proxies (forward and reverse proxy)
Working knowledge of TCP/IP/IPv6 networking and load balancing technology
Ability to develop maintainable, well-designed software under tight deadlines
Experience implementing and maintaining unit, integration and system tests
Passion for solving hard problems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science fundamentals
Plus to have Skills
Identity management
Content distribution network and web caching
Web application firewall
Fundamentals of network security
Working knowledge of security technology such as URL categorization, content inspection
Working knowledge of system performance analysis and tuning
Working knowledge of data streaming systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
Industry commercial development experience using C, C++, Go, and Java
Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, CloudFront, CloudWatch, VPC, CloudFormation)
Deep knowledge of TypeScript
Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment
Experience in medium to large scale cloud-based environments
Some experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, & PHP
Interest in privacy and the protection of personal information
Experience developing with security APIs and technologies
Ability to support services with an on call rotation
Located in the Bay Area and be willing and able to meet either at our Woodside office or on location with local customer(s) on an on demand basis
Bonus points:
Experience with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) or Terraform framework
Fluency in multiple programming languages, Rust is a plus
Experience in IOS or Android development
Knowledge of Clean Architecture concepts
Experience working at a startup
