Position Summary:
- A successful candidate will be a professional with advanced technical skills in a variety of audit and small business areas, including the preparation and review of work papers, financial statements, and reports.
- They have the ability to plan, execute and supervise the full scope of audit and accounting engagements for clients in a variety of industries.
- They will perform technical review and analysis of financial statements and be the primary liaison between the client and the Manager or Director.
- They will be expected to remain compliant with pronouncements of professional and other regulations.
Required Skills & Experience:
In addition to the core competencies, the candidate will ideally have:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting
- 5+ years public accounting experience in an audit environment
- CPA certification or working toward it.
- Strong supervisory experience and client relations skills
- Working knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
- Ability to travel to same-day work at client locations
