Inventory

  • In conjunction with the Cultivation and Production Managers, ensure 100% inventory accuracy from seed/clone to finished goods and fulfillment.
  • Organize, manage, and assist in weekly/monthly physical inventory counts within the facility.
  • Complete inventory procedure using electronic tracking system (Leaflogix) and respond to any discrepancies by notifying the location s management and investigating reasons for the discrepancy.
  • Review inventory in Leaflogix and METRC systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Reporting and Documentation

Reporting and Documentation

  • Ensures inventory counts are being performed on schedule with acceptable results, and the proper documentation is being executed and filed.
  • Responsible for the settlement of all inventory discrepancies and reporting the resolution of such discrepancies.
  • Develop monthly summary for the Facility Operations Director of all inventory discrepancies and how the issues have been resolved and/or mitigated.
  • Ensure associates are following the green waste procedures by conducting periodic audits

Inventory Management Program

  • Manage inventory models ensuring the right products are distributed.
  • Manages and maintains compliance with METRC, ensures METRC inventory is up to date with Seed-To-Sale system.
  • Arrange and schedule regular training for associates within the facility.
  • Conduct on-the-job training as necessary to maintain proficiency in inventory operations for company personnel. Coordinate with Facility Managers/Supervisors/Directors to conduct inventory counts, adjustments, returns, and transfers. Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company and MRA guidelines.
  • Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting and inventory accuracy checks.
  • Write and maintain accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes and Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
  • Coordinate with the management team to discuss inventory management plans and methods to reduce errors and maximize inventory efficiency.

About You:

General

  • Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain state marijuana work credentials applicable marijuana licensing regulations may disqualify individuals with certain criminal convictions.

Education/Experience:

  • Cannabis experience, a must
  • At least two years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production facility is desired.
  • A background in IT, math, computer science or data entry is a plus.

Technological Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience in seed-to-sale tracking software required
  • Experience in inventory data base system required

  • Knowledge of medical marijuana laws, MRA regulations, and MDARD requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in licensed facilities.
