Overview:

Directly responsible for all print receiving and deliveries to customers, businesses, and internal departments in addition to assisting with digital/offset and large format finishing work.

Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to

Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.

Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.



Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for receiving and placement of signage information and delivery of printed materials.
  • Ensures timely and accurate deliveries to businesses, customers, and internal departments.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain excellent customer service throughout the delivery process, including customer follow ups.
  • Identify and correct inaccuracys in printed materials (free from typographic or other errors).
  • Communicate to management any issues that risk the departments ability to meet deadlines critical to the resort and/or other departments.
  • Responsible for upkeep and cleanliness of Resort vehicles.
  • Aid and assist in the planning and coordination of delivery, pickup, shipping and/or placement of items designated for any resorts location, customers, and other Tribal communities.
  • Ensure that the workplace remains safe through training and by following proper policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining the shop through daily maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Effectively and efficiently work under established time constraints to meet requested deadlines for all projects.
  • Assist with maintenance and implementation of the production schedule to ensure a smooth workflow, highest quality control standards, and timely delivery of requested materials.
  • Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

AGE and GAMING:

21 years of age or above.

Gaming property Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED is required. Experience in the graphic arts field or print production area is preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have knowledge of print production and excellent communication skills. Strong preference given to candidates with previous use and knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital/offset and large format software. Must possess a valid state issued drivers license: No more than one ticket per year, including speeding and no DUI or suspended license for 3 years.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least ninety (90) pounds, and stand for extended periods in excess of 4 hours. Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, kneeling, pulling and pushing may be required throughout the assigned shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
