A licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) is a professional who treats the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional aspects of mental health and substance use conditions. LMHCs work with individuals, families, couples, and groups in a variety of settings. LMHCs have a master's degree in mental health counseling or psychology and are licensed by the state. LMHCs use psychotherapy and individual interventions to help patients through mental wellness issues.
Facility Information
The 320 bed recovery center and hospital serve 260 adults and 60 adolescents through an innovative design and provides a state of the art environment for patients and staff. It is a lock down facility with appropriate safety protocols in place due to the diverse client population they serve at this facility. This inpatient facility is open 24 hours.
