Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an Electronics Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing advanced electronic circuits and equipment. This is an onsite role located in Louisville, KY.
Duties:
- Perform electronic component replacement
- Navigate and investigate electronic controls interfaces
- Load operating system software on computers, mobile devices and update firmware as required
- Update IP addresses and navigate enterprise software systems
- Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts
- Repair mobile electronic devices such as tablet and handheld devices
- Work within a team environment and use effective communication
- Communicate with customers regarding the proper use of equipment and diagnose service issues
- Utilize company email system to send and receive messages
- Complete all repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion
- Comply with all department and company policies and procedures
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Ability to operate a soldering and rework station
- Experience training associate technicians on the repair and operation of electronic equipment
- Ability to lead a team as well as organize and oversee projects
