Real Estate Development Company is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager (APM) with significant experience in multifamily construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project engineering, with a focus on managing RFIs and proficiency in Procore software. This position will be based in our Indianapolis office with periodic visits to project sites.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager throughout all project phases, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved within specified timelines and budgets.
- Effectively manage RFIs and maintain transparent communication among project stakeholders.
- Utilize Procore software to oversee project progress, documentation, and correspondence.
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress, quality standards, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide support to the project team in addressing issues and implementing solutions to overcome challenges.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports, budgets, and schedules.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Substantial experience in multifamily construction, preferably in a project engineer capacity.
- Proficiency in Procore software and other relevant project management tools.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
