Summary of Responsibilities:


The role of the Financial Advisor is to enhance member and client relationships by providing holistic planning advice and offering solutions such as Investments, Insurance, and Estate Planning products and services.



Education:


Bachelor s degree, preferably in finance, business, or related field.

Series 7 General Securities Representative Qualification required.

Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law OR Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent License AND Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law required.



Experience:


Five or more years experience in related financial planning/sales field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Clean credit report and U-4 CRD history.

Certified Financial Planner designation preferred.


Knowledge and Skills:


In-depth understanding of financial principles, investment vehicles, taxation, estate planning, and retirement planning.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to clients.

Strong listening skills to understand clients' goals and concerns effectively.

Proven ability to identify and cultivate sales opportunities while maintaining a client-centric approach.

Comfortable using CRM, financial planning software, portfolio management tools, and other technology platforms to enhance client interactions and streamline processes.




Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct prospective client interviews, implement financial plans, and provide servicing appointments with commitment to client satisfaction.

2. Perform pro-active prospecting activities to Credit Union members and introduce new member relationships.

3. Provide financial education services to Credit Union members.

4. Service and perform periodic reviews of existing client accounts and meet with clients periodically to review and update client needs, ensuring investment objectives and goals are progressing according to plan.

5. Leverage fee-based financial planning tools to help clients reach their financial goals.

6. Stay current on market conditions and financial and investment solutions in the market.

7. Achieve activity and production goals.

8. Attend department meetings.

9. Attend branch meetings, provide branch referral training, and provide feedback along with recognition.

10. Attend RIA compliance and sales meetings.

11. Complete required CE credits for certification and licensing.

12. Maintain and document, via Salesforce, regular client annual review meetings to enhance client relationships and to identify additional opportunities to expand the relationship.

13. Perform other program-related duties as directed by the Director of Wealth Management Services and RIA management staff.

14. Perform all related job duties and office operations in accordance with established Credit Union, RIA and Broker-Dealer policies and procedures.

Follow Credit Union policies for compliance with all laws and regulations, specifically, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, security policies and confidentiality Policies.




Secondary Duties and Responsibilities


Credit Union Branch Duties:


1. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all Credit Union products and services to ascertain member needs to cross-sell Credit Union products.

2. Participate in Credit Union functions and community activities as directed.
