Our commercial steering industry client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Machinist area. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attendance and be an effective team member which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:Machine Operator
Location: Wytheville, VA
Pay Range: $23.50 per hour
What's the Job?
- Set up and operate machines
- Lift 5 to 25 lbs. throughout the shift
- Some repetitive lifting/moving
What's Needed? - At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate metal-working machines including set-ups
- Experience reading and interpreting work orders, plans and blueprints
- Basic math and measurement skills and reading gauges
What's in it for me? - $23.50 per hour
- Will train on 1st shift working 6 am to 2 pm, then move to regular shift working 10 pm to 6 am on 3rd shift
- Schedule is 5 days per week, overtime when needed
