Our client is an innovative design build firm with 40 years of expertise in providing high quality design and installation solutions for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across the country. They are located in the Baltimore area in a brand new, innovation-inspiring office space.


As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make impact at a growing organization. You will work in tandem with licensed engineers on high profile projects from ideation to construction management. This unique opportunity will provide you with extensive experience on all stages of unique and diverse project typologies nationwide. You will play an integral role in helping design the future s commercial, retail, hospitality, multi-family residential, and alternative medicine facilities!


Key responsibilities of an Electrical Engineer include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the preparation of superior quality electrical construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Assist in the performance of site survey of existing system conditions to interface new designs with existing electrical systems.
  • Assist in analyzing mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing engineering problems as they arise and formulate solutions.
  • Ensure electrical design is executed in compliance with company CAD and BIM standards.
  • Ensure drawings are coordinated with other disciplines.
  • Develop reports and design documents, including electrical floor plans, equipment schematic diagrams, equipment block diagrams, electrical load calculations, short circuit studies, protective device coordination studies, and arc flash studies. Develop, track, and maintain project schedules to ensure deliverables are completed within the scope of client expectations.
  • Engage in internal and external training that furthers professional development.


Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
  • In possession of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE or EIT) in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of A|E industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in Power Studies, such as Short Circuit Study, Coordination Study, and Arc Flash Analysis.
  • Proficiency in applying requirements of National Electrical Code, other NFPA codes/standards, energy codes, and other applicable codes.
  • LEED certification.
