Central Point Partners is currently interviewing candidates in the Urbana-Champaign, IL Area for a large client.


Because this is a Contract to Hire position only GC s and USC s.


This is a 100% Onsite position. Only candidates who are local to Urbana-Champaign, IL will be considered.

Essential Functions:

  • Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Provide general administrative support to Human Resources and other departments as needed. o Transmit information or documents to employees.
  • Plan, setup, and make accommodations for on-site visitors.
  • File, retrieve, and maintain records, documents, and reports.
  • Attend meetings to record minutes.
  • Makes travel arrangements for traveling employees and candidates'
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current Human Resources and Safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
  • Arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
  • Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
  • Monitor and record training activities and program effectiveness.
  • Assist in training sessions for emergency preparedness, confined spaces, electrical safety, machine guarding, fall protection, and forklift safety.
  • Maintain contingency plans; including fire vention, severe weather awareness, and emergency procedures, and controlling hazardous spills.
  • Maintain database of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) so they are accessible at all times according to regulations.
  • Collaborate wlth engineers and physicians to institute control and remedial measures for hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions or equipment.
  • Asslst in new-employee onboarding and orientation.
  • lnterview contractors and employees to obtain information about work environments and workplace incidents. Assist with other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
