Correctional Officer Position Features: This position oversees and maintains care, custody, and control of incarcerated persons within a facility, while enforcing the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the agency
Candidates who are selected for the role will supervise all functions and movement within the institution to include, but not limited to: internal movement of incarcerated persons, utilization of recreation yards/spaces, visitation, medication administration, meals, classes, and commissary.
Candidates must have their own vehicle and be able to drive themselves onto the premises every day for work
Ideal candidates will have schedule flexibility and a willingness to work any shift, including weekends
Starting Salary will be $24/hr and benefits will be extended to all those hired who complete the training in good standing for the position after 30 days.
