Schemmer is seeking to hire a detail-oriented full-time Survey CADD Technician in the Omaha Metro Area! Are you looking for a job that will value your skills? A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SURVEY CADD TECHNICIAN
As a member of the engineering division, you'll provide two separate support functions in the Survey Department including a variety of in-office and some field tasks associated with land surveying. You will use your creativity, foresight and judgment in anticipating and solving technical problems both in the field and in the office. As a Survey CADD Technician, you'll maintain accuracy, reduce field data and produce a final product for review. As a Field Technician, you'll perform surveys as directed by the Senior Land Surveyor or Survey Party Chief.
ABOUT YOU!
- You've earned an associates degree with emphasis in Survey/CADD related curriculum
- You'll have 5+ years of survey and drafting experience
- You are proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- You also have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
- General computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- You are authorized to work in the United States
