We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to join a leading New England General Contractor. The ideal candidate is experienced in ground-up commercial construction and can manage the day-to-day operations with ease.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Superintendent
- Experience managing multi-million dollar projects successfully
Skills:
Leadership - As an essential part of any successful team management position, leadership skills will be crucial when overseeing multiple subcontractors during each phase of your assigned project.
Problem-solving With plenty of unforeseen challenges likely presenting themselves throughout every stage involved within constructing such intricate buildings (especially considering they re starting from scratch), being able to think critically under pressure will come naturally with practice.
Communication Maintaining excellent communication between yourself, other members inside/outside teams responsible too ensures everyone stays up-to-date regarding deadlines/milestones which helps prevent costly mistakes further down the line
