Our client is a global chemical manufacturing company with an outstanding culture and growth opportunities. This plant is located in the Hattiesburg, MS area and they are looking for a Maintenance Manager with a strong analytical background. This position comes with a very competitive compensation package, as well as an above-market relocation package. The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership and direction of facility-wide maintenance activities and be put on a growth trajectory into becoming a Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Plant Manager, sets tactical and strategic direction for the maintenance department.
- Provides SHE (Safety/Health/Environmental) leadership and direction by actively and positively supporting and developing initiatives for SHE improvement.
- Ensures safe operation of the maintenance team providing training and enforcing safety rules and procedures.
- Identifies and champions reliability improvements to reduce maintenance cost and downtime.
- Identify and execute cost reduction projects; identify and execute energy reduction projects and obtain maximum productivity of personnel.
- Continuously seek ways to improve performance of our plant's operation and ensure customer's (both internal and external) needs are met.
- Ensures the Management of Change (MOC) and Mechanical Integrity (Ml) requirements under OSHA's Process Safety Management regulation are met.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance reliability techniques.
- Knowledge of current applicable PSM and Ml regulations to the industry (OSHA 1910.119, AP-510, APl-570, APl-653).
- PLC Programming experience (Siemens, A-B) is preferred.
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical experience.
- Familiar with Process Safety Management (PSM) covered processes and Process Hazard Analyses (PHA s).
- Ale to manage time in an environment of changing and multiple priorities.
