Requirements, Education and Experience:
1. Excellent Attendance and Punctuality. The program is scheduled to run ten weeks, Monday, June 3, 2024, through Friday, August 9, 2024. We may customize the dates according to your and/or your school s schedule. You will be responsible for tracking your time using an automated company timecard.
2. You are responsible for your own housing and reliable transportation.
3. Strict adherence to all safety protocol, OSHA safety rules and regulations procedures
4. Current enrollment at an accredited college or university with a 3.0 or higher GPA
5. Successful submission of our online application by Monday, May 6, 2024, and:
a cover letter or paragraph stating your major and what intrigues you about it.
a resume including your LinkedIn profile, if you have one.
one written recommendation (e-mail ok) from a current or previous employer, teacher, or professor
6. Road Construction knowledge; a plus
7. Understanding of lock out/tag out training, a plus.
8. Computer Skills including Microsoft Office and Excel, preferred.
9. Proficient written and verbal English communication skills
10. Legal right to work in the U. S.

Travel:
Position may require up to 15% travel by personal vehicle to offices throughout the state of New York, and New England based on the needs of the business.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Work environment is dependent upon internship placement and may operate in a professional office or physical work environment. The professional work environment is mostly sedentary, outside of travel.
Some internships may involve heavy work that includes heavy lifting, working near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.

Internship rate: $21/hour
