Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Utility and Civil Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Review and negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
  • Acquire and track equipment and materials.
  • Supervise and evaluate production.
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, APMs and field staff.
  • Customer follow up and ensure documentation is covered to protect our company and operations.
  • Customer coordination for our work in place or future.
  • Coordinate with estimating and the safety department.
  • Monthly billing for all managed projects.
  • Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as construction project manager.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Project and Excel).
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software (Bluebeam, Revit and Cad are a plus).
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient writing and communication skills.
Work Experience
  • Higher education not required.
  • 3+ Years of experience
