A leader in complex construction projects is seeking a Safety Coordinator as a vital contributor to our complex projects while upholding unwavering integrity and a commitment to safety. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in nurturing an Incident and Injury Free Culture within our projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing essential technical support to the project team.
Eligible locations: Eagle Mountain, UT, New Albany, OH or Plain City, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Foster an Incident and Injury Free Culture within projects to prioritize safety.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Provide technical support to the project team, including developing and maintaining a Project Safety Roadmap.
- Facilitate incident investigations and manage injury and illness cases.
- Support the General Foreman, Project Leadership, and Project Team in completing incident investigations and handling injury and illness cases.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of construction safety experience, preferably with electrical safety experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Construction safety experience with a solid understanding of industry standards such as NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI.
- OSHA 30 Construction certification required. CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred), along with other safety certifications desired.
- Must have a Green Card or US Citizenship, not open to C2C or C2H.
