JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive initiatives to ensure continued improvement in safety, team member relations, customer satisfaction, quality, complete and on-time delivery, lean manufacturing and cost reduction.
  • Manage and develop the Sales Team and Customer Service Team Members.
  • Manage relationships with existing customers and distributors throughout the United States
  • Visit distributors yearly or a bi-annual basis doing lunch and learns and training salesforce on technical aspects of equipment.
  • Create and provide project sales training to channel partners.
  • Work closely with third party marketing firm to develop marketing strategies, produce and edit marketing content, and conduct market research with customers.
  • Plan and implement sales strategies.
  • Meet or exceed established sales and performance targets.
  • Identify and segment a broader customer database and track potential opportunities.
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, bills of material, & timelines to support developing cost and budget models
  • Analyze market trends and industry developments to stay ahead of competitors and identify potential growth opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence, and information to business and sales leadership.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and local organizations to build relationships when requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management and Corporate.


BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/Sales/Marketing or related field.
  • At least 5 7 years of technical sales management experience selling manufacturing process equipment to the finishing industry, automotive, aerospace, and/or general manufacturing industries.
  • 5-7 years plus experience with strategic direction, marketing amd
  • Project Management experience preferably with engineered to order equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with one or more of the following: industrial washers, dryers, ovens, industrial lifts, conveyors, electropolishing, descaling, heat treating, annealing, anodizing, plating, metal finishing, metal treating, electroplating, metal coatings, powder coating equipment, liquid painting equipment, blasting equipment, wood, or MDF coating equipment, paint
  • Proficiency in Computer Literacy and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Experienced at presenting proposal solutions in a group setting; balanced and discrete approach when participating in meetings
  • Ability to travel approximately 8 days a month.
