Location: Omaha, NE

Type: Direct Hire- onsite

Pay: $75-90,000 based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prompt and effective technical support to end-users through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
  • Conduct diagnostic analysis and implement solutions to optimize system functionality and user productivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals, along with routine updates and security enhancements.
  • Provide remote support and troubleshooting, ensuring a consistent IT experience for all employees, regardless of location.
  • Keep accurate records of IT assets, service requests, and resolutions; maintain detailed documentation for IT operations.
  • Address network connectivity issues, including managing VPN setups and network printers.
  • Implement IT security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with various departments on technology upgrades, system migrations, and new deployments.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies; suggest improvements to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the IT department.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven background in technical support within a professional setting.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, hardware, software, and networking.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred: IT certifications (CompTIA A+, MCITP, CCNA).
  • Detail-oriented with a capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
