**Description**

The Inventory Control Clerk performs inventory control functions, handles problems and changes made by Inside/Outside Sales Staff, performs clerical duties to include generating reports that capture critical inventory data used to facilitate inventory controls and process improvements. Manage and oversee inventory cycle and full physical counts. In addition, Inventory Control Clerk performs a variety of duties to move products and material within multiple warehouses by loading and unloading vehicles and storing, picking and pulling stock, and assists in the areas of shipping and receiving as needed.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform stock checks of bin locations and make bin location adjustments to correct inventory

- Conduct cycle counts by counting product according to designated schedule and propose correcting adjustments to management for review and approval

- Assist with physical inventory counts, including counts that are performed by outside parties, as well as assist with research on any reconciliation issues

- Provide assistance in processing Returned Goods Authorizations (RGAs) ensuring credits are received or issued for inventory accuracy, including working with inside/outside sales departments to coordinate inventory returns on contract orders

- Analyze and track daily inventory discrepancies, including Bills of Lading discrepancies and discrepancy information received from other departments, report continued discrepancies to management

- Verify product received, including quantity and product identification information, agrees to packing list, inspect products for damage, sign documents and forward to office for processing

- Assist inside/outside sales departments with reconciliations of inventory invoice orders to contracts

- Maintains and counts current physical inventory check on products within assigned areas to reconcile counts to accurate inventory levels

- After management approval, provide assistance with identifying and discarding inventory not meeting Companys standards

- Support purchasing and sales departments by verifying on hand inventory quantities

- Run regular inventory data reports to identify irregular quantities, slow-moving, and obsolete products, and escalate findings to management for review

- Notify supervisor of damage, shortages or concerns with products or equipment

- Report to work as scheduled, work overtime as business needs dictate, and follow safe practices according to Companys safety policies and procedures

Perform additional duties as required and requested, and work cooperatively with co-workers and other departments to provide assistance as needed
