This is a full-time on-site role located in Burlington, VT for a Home Health Aide. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing assistance and care to patients in their homes. Your day-to-day tasks will include helping patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, monitoring their health conditions, administering medications, and providing emotional support. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of the patients.
Qualifications
- Certification or training as a Home Health Aide
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Compassion and empathy towards patients
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in home healthcare is a plus
