Communities of Care is seeking a Private Duty Nurse to add to our dedicated team of experienced nurses who do some of the most crucial work in the world.Client information:- 34-year-old Male- Floppy airway and respiratory care- No Trach/vent- 2 cats in the home- Located in Golden Valley, MN- Family wants to start with one nurse with two 8-hour shifts (9a - 5p, 11a - 5p)- Monday - Friday, weekends when needed.We offer world class care with heartfelt small community values.We'll train you.Responsibilities:- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities- Maintain accurate patient medical records- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family membersQualifications:- Familiarity with medical software and equipment- Ability to build rapport with patients- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentFun, growing, entrepreneurial company focusing on World Class care and acting as though we can truly do great things.
