Tooling Manager

Reports to: Operations Manager

As the Tooling & Engineering Manager, you will be joining a dynamic team at a growing manufacturing company in one of the most critical managerial roles at the business. This is a hands-on, shop floor position that is responsible for all items related to tooling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct Tool Room personnel.
• Manage all outside tooling vendors.
• Maintain required Tool Room supplies.
• Assist Plant Engineer with shot audits and tooling repairs.
• Manage all Tooling Repair Orders.
• Assist with development of new tooling designs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of tool room experience
• Journeyman card a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of CAD software is required (SolidWorks, etc.).
• Must work collaboratively with other team members.
• A positive attitude and regular and punctual attendance is required.
