Job Overview: As a Program Management Support specialist, you'll lead the charge in providing cutting-edge recommendations on technology trends, ensuring the GEOINT Services Office remains at the forefront of innovation within the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG). From crafting insightful point papers to developing strategic programmatic documentation, your expertise will drive impactful decision-making processes within the GEOINT Services Office Integrated Program Office (IPO). Embrace the challenge of supporting projects transitioning to cloud architectures, where you'll evaluate emerging requirements, assess their impact on NSG architecture, and identify opportunities for technology integration.
Responsibilities
Duties:
- Provide expert-level Program and Project Management support to the GEOINT Services Office, driving efficiency and excellence in every aspect of our operations.
- Offer unparalleled acquisition and program management expertise, ensuring the seamless implementation of directives from top-level authorities such as ODNI, USDI, and the customer's Director.
- Lead strategic business planning and business development activities, contributing to product concept development and the advancement of Information Technology engineering initiatives.
- Foster robust communication and collaboration across all organizational areas, engaging with end users, customers, and agencies both domestically and internationally to mitigate risks and drive successful project outcomes.
- Actively participate in scrum meetings with our vendors, bridging the gap between technical complexities and practical application by translating intricate concepts into easily digestible insights.
- Keep stakeholders informed of evolving customer requirements gathered by vendors and prioritized by government product managers, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Provide expert advice on proposed technical solutions from an engineering perspective, particularly as we optimize our presence in the Cloud or Platform as a Service (PAAS) environments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing, enabling the creation of After Action Reports (AARs), Weekly Activity Reports (WARs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Requirements Process documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability in all our endeavors.
QualificationsRequired: - Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, GEOINT-related Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of technology, processes, principles, and micro-process onboarding into modern Cloud architectures, including AWS, C2S, and GovCloud.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and excellence in program management within dynamic and fast-paced environments.
