We are representing a Bay Area based General Contractor in their search for a Senior Estimator. The client specializes in Commercial Tenant Improvements including Retail, Hospitality and Office as well as Multifamily Residential and Mixed-Use construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare materials pricing
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects and Engineers
- Solicit bids from Subcontractors, evaluate proposals and communicate with the bidders
- Prepare conceptual estimates
Qualifications
- You have 8+ years of Estimating experience with a minimum of 5 years focused on Tenant Improvements and/ Multifamily Residential construction projects
- You hold a Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- Proficiency with estimating software (Timberline or similar), take-off software (On-Screen Takeoff), BIM and MS Office suite
- Knowledge and understanding of construction drawings
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and bids at any given time
- Excellent communication skills and an ability work well in a team based environment
