Job Title :: Mail Room Machine Operator
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ability to Stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Load supplies /envelops to be mailed
Seasonal availability preferred
- Sorting and distributing mail: They ensure that all incoming and outgoing mail is properly sorted and delivered to the correct recipients.
- Researching names and zip codes: They may need to look up specific information to ensure mail is correctly addressed.
- Supporting employees with various mail requirements: They assist other employees in the organization with their mailing needs.
- Maintaining inventory: They keep track of supplies and materials needed for the mailroom operations.
- Performing minor maintenance on equipment: They are responsible for keeping the mailroom machines in good working order.
- Ensuring that postage amounts are adequate: They make sure that all outgoing mail has the correct postage.
