I am excited to share a work-from-home opportunity with our team. We will now be hiring another Remote Scheduling Coordinator After-Hours to handle matters that occur outside of our normal business hours. This role will be responsible for managing schedule changes, callouts, no-call no-shows, re-staffing, late arrivals, missed clock-ins, urgent situations, and more. The essential tasks for this role include managing and communicating with clients and caregiver scheduling matters during after-hours and up to 24 hours following. The After-Hours Scheduling Coordinator will also be required to use a variety of communication methods, including phone calls, text messaging, and emails, when reaching out to staff.

Essential Job Tasks:

  • Manage and communicate client and caregiver scheduling matters during after-hours and up to 24 hours following.
  • Use a variety of communication methods when reaching out to staff, phone calls, emails, and texting.
  • Recap via email, daily calls received, and outcomes (including who called, time of call duration, and details of conversation).
  • Log information in Wellsky and set tasks for office staff for follow-ups.
  • Explain the plan of care to caregivers going to new clients during on-call shifts or up to 24 hours following.
  • Utilize Wellsky's 'CareFinder' feature for staffing assistance.
  • Read daily emails from office staff to stay up to date and provide reports to the office in an email after the on-call shift.
  • Answer any questions or concerns from the office staff as soon as you are able outside of the after-hours assignment.

Complete new sales training, input new prospects into Wellsky, add to the office inquiry log, and work on staffing. Get assistance with rates and deposits and send documents through Scan 123. The coordinator will also work closely with the supervisor On Call and communicate with office staff responsible for inquiries during the normal work week if questions need to be answered.

Text or call Supervisor On Call if assistance is needed due to:

  • too many call-offs at around the same time
  • a situation you are not sure how to handle.
  • needing staffing suggestions if nothing is working and you have already utilized the CareFinder tool and called all available caregivers.
  • Needing the approval to pay more for a shift, bonus, or approval for a caregiver to work overtime.

As an After-Hours Scheduling Coordinator, you will be working outside the RAH office after regular business hours. The period and compensations details are as follows:

1. After Hours Period:

  • Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm to 8 am
  • Friday 4:30 pm to Monday 8 am

2. Holidays:

  • 8:00 am - 4:30 pm on the following holidays: New Year's Eve (office closes at 3 pm/After Hours on duty at 3p, paid additional $25), New Year s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (office closes at 3 pm/ After Hours on duty at 3p, paid additional $25) and Christmas Day.
  • Paid an additional $75 for the holiday.

3. Compensation Breakout:

  • Monday-Friday: $150
  • Saturday and Sunday: $200. You will be paid $50 for every new client that gets processed and staffed, not including Vigil Care.
  • $13.00/hr. Active Work (ATW) i.e. phone calls (conversations, messages), typing/reading (emails, texts, ClearCare).

o Weekday paid after 1 hour of ATW

o Saturday paid after 2 hours. of ATW

o Sunday paid after 2 hours of ATW

  • Required additional training: $13.00/hour

4. Payment:

  • You will be paid bi-weekly on Fridays.
  • Pay periods are Monday-Sunday.
  • Payment via direct deposit.
