Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking an Executive Assistant with experience in support of senior executives to join our exciting team with the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)).
This opportunity is ideal for someone with an executive presence and highly effective communication and interpersonal skills. The person in this role will provide support to the Senior Executive Service (SES) Director at Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Mission Capabilities (DCTO(MC)). The ideal candidate must be able to successfully coordinate with senior government personnel, Congressional members and staff, as well as industry and academia to resolve conflicting schedule priorities. The candidate will also coordinate logistical support for meetings, manage official correspondence, and handle various office administrative functions for MDJO personnel. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, who can take initiative and accomplish work independently with minimal guidance.
The anticipated work location is in Arlington, VA, on site.

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 15+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience supporting Senior Executives, General Officers, Flag Officers, or Chief Executive Officers
- Expertise with DTS and CATMS
- Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
Desired Experience- Knowledge of the OUSD(R&E) and DARPA organizations
- OSD, Joint Staff, and/or Service Staff experience
