Job Title: Lead Application Developer
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Job Summary:
As a Lead Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resource and Benefits applications. You will serve as the subject matter expert for these applications, actively participating in the design process, and taking ownership of maintenance and modifications. Your expertise in coding techniques such as C#/.NET, testing strategies, and application implementations will be pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential as you will work closely with business partners in HR, Benefits, PR, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Research, design, define, develop, test, document, and implement new computer applications or changes to existing applications adhering to company standards.
- Install software packages and/or personal computer software, ensuring efficient operation of hardware and software.
- Utilize programming tools effectively, particularly C#, to ensure accuracy and productivity in development tasks.
- Analyze data related to processing problems, collaborating with IT and business unit associates to find solutions.
- Provide guidance and advice to programming associates on technical and application facets of the job.
- Participate in committee meetings on developmental projects, improvement projects, and internal IT technical committees.
- Provide training and mentoring to programming staff, systems managers, or business unit associates on technical topics or systems definition.
- Handle multiple assignments with varying deadlines simultaneously.
Qualifications: - Significant experience in C#/.NET programming, including research, design, requirements gathering, development, testing, documentation, and production support.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, define, and quantify problems and provide effective solutions.
- Proven ability to document procedures and activities clearly and effectively using English language proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively within a team and motivating co-workers in challenging situations.
- Ability to work under multiple deadlines with minimal supervision, organizing and completing projects efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Work Setting: - Office setting with extended periods of stationary work at a desk or computer.
- Frequent keyboarding work requiring repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Occasional movement between workstations and participation in meetings.
Computer Skills and Knowledge: - Proficiency in C# programming language.
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
