ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pour zinc and aluminum in open face molds to create sacrificial anodes.
- Read and interpret drawings for production.
- Measure components and finished goods.
- To receive, put away, pick, pack, ship and inventory merchandise in a safe, productive and accurate manner. Associates will be cross-trained in multiple areas.
- Stock raw materials and molds on shelves.
- Track labor and materials using ERP system.
- Perform cycle counts
- Re-label product per customer's requirements
- Familiar with bar code labels and scanners.
- Maintain production equipment.
- Operate small machinery, Iron maker and Press.
- Perform other related duties, special projects or assignments as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to be trained/ licensed to operate powered equipment as assigned
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and safety/security guidance.
- Must be highly detailed and organized
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Ability to communicate with Customer's in a positive manner
- Actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members
- Focus and remain on task in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate customer demands; possess a can-do attitude and ability to prioritize in a changing work environment.
- Working knowledge of computer programs
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
- Ability to be able to complete repetitive functions including walking, bending, reaching, stooping, twisting and lifting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
