As a Construction Project Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in my client's continued success by accurately estimating project costs, contributing to bid proposals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and within budget.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Estimator to join my client's leading building and construction firm (General Contractor). With a strong focus on commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial projects, my client has earned a reputation for excellence in the construction industry. *My client is a General Contractor, but if you have subcontractor experience, specifically with framing and drywall, that is a plus!*

*Description*
*Key Responsibilities for Construction Estimator:*
* Conduct comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential project details.
* Analyze and interpret project blueprints and specifications to determine accurate estimates.
* Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals.
* Continuously update and maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference.
* Monitor and evaluate industry trends, materials costs, and construction methods to provide accurate estimates.
* Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as necessary.
* Assist in value engineering efforts to maximize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Review and assess subcontractor and vendor proposals.
* Collaborate with the project management team to ensure a seamless transition from the estimating phase to project execution.
*Profile*
*Construction Estimator Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
* Proven experience as a Construction Project Estimator in a commercial construction environment.
* Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of local building codes and regulations (a plus) building and construction
* Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) is a plus.
