Job Summary:
Pangea Laboratory seeks a dynamic individual to become an integral part of our Laboratory Operations team! In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with CLIA/CAP standards. Your responsibilities will include maintaining effective communication with supervisors, assisting Clinical Laboratory Scientist or R&D Team in conducting various laboratory tests on patient samples, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Your contributions will be instrumental in troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring safety and quality control, and keeping the laboratory environment organized.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for specimen processing and test performance.
- Assists in routine qualitative and quantitative analysis of various clinical specimens.
- Assists with pre-analytical activities such as restocking of consumables, inventory, entering data into LIMS.
- Assists in process improvement activities such as quality, safety, document management and control.
- Collect data as required by the SOP.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisor on day-to-day activities and on-going experiments.
- Required to follow all safety procedures, policies, precautions, and Quality Assurance.
- Stay current with updates and changes to laboratory procedures, documents, and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor or Master of Science Degree with 1 years experience in Clinical Laboratory Science within microbiology field.
- Experience with molecular testing is preferable.

Compensation:
The estimated base compensation range for this position is $27 to $29 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation details will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
