Our government client is looking for an Active Directory SME to join their team.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay Rate: $60.00 - $70.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Active Directory SME:
- Enterprise-level support for Active Directory for global initiatives following those through to implementation
- Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for directory services environment
- Serve as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting
- Provide guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues
- Perform daily system monitoring
- Verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes
- Review system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
- Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems
- Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies
- Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation
Requirements of the Active Directory SME:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 7 years IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment
- Expert level Active Directory architecture and management experience
- Expert level experience with Active Directory Federation Services, SAML, and SSO
- Expert level experience with PKI, PIV cards, Smart Cards
- Expert level experience with Distributed File System including both DFS-N, and DFS-R
- Expert level experience with Windows Certificates Services Management
- Expert knowledge in creating, administering, and troubleshooting Group Policies
- Mid-level experience with Windows Server Operating Systems (2012 R2 to 2019)
- Mid-level experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect
- Mid-level experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V Virtualization
- Mid-level experience with Windows Failover Clustering
- Scripting Experience: PowerShell and VBScript
