About the role :We're seeking a Machine Learning Software Engineer to design, create and maintain Machine Learning models to provide solutions to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) business needs.

You'll join an innovative team, who is on the cutting edge of innovative technologies. They simplify the technology footprint on our assets, resulting in lower cost for delivery and maintenance of ITS and ETC solutions.

As our Machine Learning Software Engineer you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.

Day-to-day, you will:Develop, architect, analyze, deploy and optimize computer vision algorithms and systems for ITS applications.Design and implement computer vision models using state-of-the-art techniques and frameworks.Contribute to the entire lifecycle of computer vision technologies, including researching, testing, validating, implementing, maintaining and updating systems and code to stay at the forefront of the field.Document systems design using diagrams, flowcharts, text narratives, simulators and other design tools.Provide technical support and guidance to team members and customers using computer vision systems.Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Leads, Software Developers, Testers and cross-functional teams towards the delivery of ITS Solutions.Support maintenance teams towards research of systems problems as well as suggestion of potential solutions.

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and ex

periences, including:At least 5 years' work experience in developing computer vision systems, including hands-on implementation and deployment.Strong knowledge of computer vision algorithms, libraries, and tools, such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, Yolo, or PyTorch.Experience in creation of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) solutions for embedded systems.Familiarity with ITS, machine learning and deep learning concepts and frameworksExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field, preferred
