**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**JOB TITLE:** Customer Service Representative

**SUMMARY:** Provides customers with courteous customer service in person or over the phone; strives to retain present customers and develop new business by extending professional and efficient service and suggesting additional services and products to serve customers needs. Ultimately, a CSR's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the customer's experience is a positive experience and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Customer service representatives are responsible for answering incoming phone calls from customers, returning incoming emails from customers, tracking online orders, and communicating with vendors.
* Must have a pleasant demeanor, be hard working, punctual, and reliable. Must be able to handle high call volumes and irate customers with a calm disposition. To be successful as a customer service representative, you should have a pleasant personality. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations.
* Provides account information to customers including but not limited to account balances, histories.
* Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers by listening to their needs and educating them about the DPI Off-Road products and services that are most appropriate to their situation.
* Prepares reports and correspondence as needed.
* Punctuality and performance are a must!
* Performs other related duties as assigned by management
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* One to two years related experience or equivalent.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient in: Data entry involves collecting data from customers and vendors, entering data into Global Shop, transferring files, evaluating purchase orders (POs), indexing, filing paperwork, and generating reports as needed.
* Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
* Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
* Bilingual skills are a plus.
* Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
