AKA BEVERLY HILLS is hiring for a Assistant General Manager!

The Assistant General Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless daily operations of the property while upholding the exemplary standards of guest service. Utilizing strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, this role leads and motivates the operational team while ensuring financial accountability. The role reports in to the General Manager.


Required Qualifications:

  • Four year degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of Operations experience, overseeing housekeeping and guest services
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Meticulous attention to detail



In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrates Leadership - Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and encourage others; Leading by example.
  • Manages daily operations of the property ensuring excellence in resident / guest service while promoting company culture and ensuring Team Member adherence to company and property policies and procedures.
  • Supervises, develops and holds accountable the performance of all operating departments including, but not limited to: Front Office, Valet, Housekeeping, Maintenance through KPI metrics.
  • Adheres to all AKA policies and procedures and trains new operational leadership team members to ensure compliance.
  • Ensures that training in service standards is conducted in each department using the steps to effectively train according to AKA standards, including compliance.
  • Maximizes resident / guest satisfaction in a cost-efficient manner, measuring outcomes via reviews, surveys and other feedback methods.
  • Ensure that all department leaders maintain budgeted productivity levels and AKA standard accounting procedures.
  • Accomplishes cash control objectives by assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining Team Members in all aspects of money control; communicating role expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing role contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Oversees AP activity to ensure batching, coding, and reviewing of invoices are processed for payments. Assists other departments in maintaining actual expenditures verses budget.
  • Maintains credit/AR/billing controls by establishing policies and procedures for collections and billing.
  • Assists in solving guest concerns/billing errors/credit card disputes.

The hospitality industry requires varying schedules to support the business needs of the hotel.
