Finance Manager,/ Operations Finance Manager/ Manufacturing Finance Manager - Richmond, VA

This Finance Manager will report to the corporate CFO and indirectly to a Plant/ Operations Manager. Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects related to the manufacturing operations and will directly handle budgeting, forecasting, product costing, financial analysis, and strategic financial planning.
Finance Manager will develop, implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures. Additionally Manager will be responsible for:
Leading the annual financial planning / budgeting process for the manufacturing
forecasting and variance analysis.
Developing a robust product costing process (manufactured and sourced) and work with finance and commercial teams on facility / customer / product analysis.
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue enhancement.
Collaborate with plant operations teams to optimize financial performance and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
10-15 years experience with 5-10 year of proven experience in financial management in a plant or manufacturing environment.
*Excellent technical skills including Excel and data modeling and budget/ financial skills.
